Purpose of project:
Provide an alternative route to relieve traffic on Kinghshighway and US 63 by extending 4-lanes of Highway 72/Ridgeview Rd between US 63 and I-44.
Schedule for project/construction:
The Highway 72 Extension opened for traffic fall 2018.
Benefits of project:
Provide congestion relief along US 63 (Bishop Ave) and Kingshighway by providing a bypass for through traffic. The project is expected to improve mobility and safety city-wide.
